As a Low Boy Driver with Marlin Construction

Your experience in the following areas will drive your success in this role.

  • Loading & hauling over width overweight equipment

  • Safe driving record

  • Knowledge of operating equipment to load

  • DOT & Bridge Permitting

  • Pre & post trip inspections, knowledge of mechanics of truck and trailer.

We have outlined the skill-set necessary for a candidate's success in this role below.

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of Low Boy experience

  • Valid CDL Class A driver’s license with clean record

  • Considerable knowledge of safety in moving heavy equipment

  • Proper chaining & tie down of equipment

  • Must be competent and knowledgeable pertaining to over the road and heavy haul safety

  • Flexibility to make late night and early morning equipment moves

  • Must be able to lift 40+ lbs

  • Must be able to travel between site locations
