As a Paving Operator with Marlin Construction

Your experience in the following areas will drive your success in this role.

  • Operating paving equipment

  • Following all safety procedures on the job site and reporting any hazards to management

  • Use of GPS, sonar, and laser guided equipment

  • Follow layouts, plans, & foreman direction

We have outlined the skill-set necessary for a candidate's success in this role below.

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of paving equipment experience

  • Valid driver license

  • Considerable knowledge of equipment operations and construction and maintenance procedures including pre-shift equipment inspections and daily logs

  • Must be competent and knowledgeable pertaining to OSHA operating & safe work requirements

  • Must have a working knowledge of grades and layout

  • Must be able to travel between site locations

  • 10 hour shift

  • 8 hour shift

  • Day shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Overtime

  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Paving: 5 years (Required)
