As a Asphalt Laborer with Marlin Construction

Your experience in the following areas will drive your success in this role.

  • Motivation to be a team player, and personal growth

  • Safe operation of hand tools and small fuel powered equipment

  • Prior experience in Paving & Concrete

  • Following all safety procedures on the job site and reporting any hazards to management

  • Listening to foreman, and ability to work with crew members

We have outlined the skill-set necessary for a candidate's success in this role below.

  • Preferred minimum of 2+ years of skilled labor experience in commercial asphalt paving. Will teach those looking for long term career.

  • Valid driver license, DOT Medical Card

  • Exceptional work ethic

  • Adaptive and flexible to changing work type or switching crews

  • Must be competent and knowledgeable pertaining to OSHA excavation requirements

  • Must be able to travel between site locations
